One Day Hostel Bangkok

What are some of the things that make for your perfect accommodation option? Affordable prices, great and convenient location, friendly service staff, stylish design…?

Well, One Day Hostel Bangkok sure ticks all those boxes, making it one of the best places to stay at in Bangkok. The hostel is located in Sukhumvit Soi 26, one of the alleys leading off Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok’s artery filled with dining, retail and entertainment options. It is also a mere five minutes away from Phrom Phong BTS (Bangkok’s sky train system) on the Sukhumvit line, making it very convenient to travel. Siam is 15 minutes away by train, while Thong Lor area with its myriad of cool cafes, street food (Sukhumvit Soi 38!) and nightlife options is just one BTS station away.

My friend and I stayed three in a private double room for three nights, and overall we had a fantastic experience. It cost THB 5100 (~SGD 200), so all in all we paid around SGD 100 per person for three nights. It is true that there are cheaper options elsewhere in Bangkok, but for the room, experience and facilities we enjoyed, I’d say it was very much value for money. Not to mention the super stylish design of the place, which I particularly loved. Here are pictures to help you make up your mind about this place 😉

Welcome to One Day Hostel! It’s part of a complex involving a co-working space, a restaurant and a cafe.
Love the details!
Communal kitchen! My favorite space in the entire establishment.
Love how much attention is put in the small details of designing the space!

The staircase! There’s no elevator here – probably one of the only downside to the place.
Upstairs corridor!
Our double room!
See what I mean about details? 😉
Entrance to the communal bathroom on the second floor! So cute. They have the nicest bathrooms ever – but I don’t have pictures. Sorry about that! Google them ;D
