Shake Shack: Best Fast Food Joint in the World?

Unless you have been living under a rock all this time, we are pretty sure you would’ve heard of Shake Shack, in one way or another. This fast food joint hailing from the East Coast is famous the world over for being a must-try thing for visitors to the States.

So, as always, the biggest question is: does it live up to the hype? We think YES! So make sure you include Shake Shack on your itinerary when you travel 😉

The most interesting thing on the menu, undoubtedly, is the Shake Stack (USD 9.95 / SGD 13.94): cheese burger with crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted cheese, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce. Sounds amazing? That’s because it is!

A closer look at the Shake Stack – yummy!

If you think that sounds too crazy, you can skip this and just get their ShackBurger (USD 5.5 / SGD 7.71 for single patty): cheese burger with lettuce, tomato, and Shack Sauce. A actually prefers this to the Shake Stack, and it’s way less messy to eat too 😉

Other than the burgers, we also LOVE the Cheese Fries (USD 3.99 / SGD 5.59). The fries are thick and crispy, and the cheese sauce is just amazing. The portion is also good for two to three people to share, so it’s very value for money too. See here>> for a sample full menu.

YUM 🙂

Verdict? Shake Shack is definitely one of our favorite fast food joints in the world 😉 And the good news is, in recent years they’ve opened up stores outside the US: in Japan, South Korea, Turkey, the Middle East, the UK and Russia. So if you’re in Seoul, or Tokyo, or London, you can consider hopping over to a Shake Shack to try them out too!

  1. Shake Shack is amazing! As a native New Yorker I personally think it beats Five Guys every time, and even some of the less “fast” joints like Umami Burger and Bareburger. They should open one in Singapore!

Thanks for another great post, girls!
